Spyro Grayscale

Hey there guys, so I just finished my painting of Spyro in gray scale. This painting took me forever, at least 6+ hours to finish, and I might even continue to touch up a few areas here and there to really tighten it down, but for the most part, it's finished. I really liked how this painting turned out, at first I didn't know what kind of Spyro image I wanted to go with, so I sat down to just draw from a reference image I found on google to get some practice done, and well, that practice sketch went from a portrait shot to a full body painting. I've had a lot of fun working on this, especially when comparing the gray scale to the colored version, which I'll have uploaded here hopefully very soon.

This drawing wasn't meant to be a perfect replica, but rather just a study to see how close I could get to the original image, so a few mistakes here and there were made, but all in all, I think this turned out alright.
